How to offer coaching services on your blog

Just having a website showcasing your services is not enough anymore. You will actively use your blog to showcase what you are doing and the results that you can achieve. Here are five things you can do NOW to help you sell more through your website.

1. Get people to like know and trust you

Offering a service, especially a coaching service, you will need to sell it in such a way as to gain the confidence of people who are interested. People need to trust you and also believe in the service. They need to believe that they can trust you and that it will work for them and their business. Is what you offer worth parting with their hard-earned money,?

Testimonials are a great way of showcasing your work and will help clients make a decision on whether to work with you. People like to identify with other people and communities.

Your business web page and social media pages should be up and running and up to date. This will show potential customers that you are organised and ready for them. Ensure you check that all the links and forms on your blog post are working and correct. Your customer experience is very important and you need to make everything run smoothly.

 2. Make it easy for people to know what you offer and how      much it will cost

Creating a page where all your coaching packages and services are listed is crucial for your business. This makes it simple and clear for potential clients to find what they are looking for. The last thing you want is for people to have to scroll through pages and pages of text then lose interest and take their business elsewhere.

List all the benefits that you can offer them along with testimonials from past and present clients. It’s important to list your prices. You don’t want to attract time wasters who are not willing to pay your fees but you would also like to get the people to sign up if they like you. Ensure that you either have a payment button on your website or a contact us form where they can request to sign up for your coaching. Remember to add a bespoke service option to make it easy for people to request bespoke services.

3. Make it easy for people to contact you

In order for your coaching service to be successful, you will need to design ways for potential clients to reach out and contact you. Make it super easy for them so you do not miss out. Try including a link on your social media pages for people to click and submit their inquiry and provide links in your blog. Adding a contact form or a contact us button on strategic places will make it easier for your customers to contact you whenever they are ready. Think about your behaviour. If you just arrive on a website and a join our newsletter box pops up, what do you do? I bet you close it! If you read most of the blog and when you get to the bottom of the page and a box pop up asking if you would download a document related to the topic your conversion rate will be much higher because the customer feels valued.

4. Give a clear outline of the process

When you take on a new client, you should have a clear process in place of what is expected from them and what you will deliver.

Firstly, you will need to establish what it is the client wants and be clear about whether you can deliver what they need.

Both parties will want to come to some agreement on what the other expects and who will be taking part in the coaching session. Having a contract written and put into place ensures things like how long the process is expected to take, the number of sessions, and the expected outcome.

Ensure a quote is included before starting the sessions ensuring any extra’s are also quoted for so there are no surprises. Also, if there are to be any additional sessions or work that it is agreed, in writing, beforehand. It is always best to get the basics covered before starting.

Having a process in place will make you look more professional and help you if things don’t work out.

5. Promote, Promote, Promote

Promote, promote and promote again. There is no point in creating an amazing service, putting in hours of hard work and not promoting it. You want to be proud of what you do and so shout it out for all to hear. Using social media is a great way and more popular than ever. Use Facebook and Google ads. Ask friends and colleagues to promote and share your content.

Use testimonials to showcase your services and the success other people have achieved. They are a free way of promoting what you are good at and it will be more believable than you just saying that you are good at what you do.

Remember to use LinkedIn to connect to people and promote your services. Many businesses large and small use this as a way of connecting as you can speak directly with the decision-makers.
